Special occasions are our specialty here at Ooh La La Chocolaterie, and the challenge of designing something for your special day is our pleasure.

You will be allocated a dedicated chocolate consultant who will follow your order through to completion, sending designs and samples along the way as needed.

Events catered for in the last couple of months include weddings, civil partnerships, milestone birthdays, business launches and children’s birthdays. A selection of photos can be seen in the gallery (coming soon!).

As well as cakes and centrepieces for the special day, we can also make “gift bags” or wedding favours – why not encapsulate the scent of your special day with a specially designed chocolate for your guests to take home? Popular choices include using flowers used in the bride’s bouquet such as roses, violet, lavender, rosemary or lemon to create a signature chocolate to use in wedding favours or serve on platters as part of the wedding breakfast.

Individual cupcakes or decorated cakes are becoming increasingly popular choices for weddings and birthdays, and can be customised for each individual or a based on a theme. Why not serve different designs at each table and name the table after them? Or for children’s birthdays they make a great take-home idea, and are also ideal for business launches or as part of a promotional giveaway. Individual cakes are also ideal if you have any guests with specific dietary requirements (eg. Gluten free, vegetarian, nut allergy etc – please contact us for more information, no order too small) and want to make sure they are included.

Novelty biscuits also make a good alternative to traditional wedding favours. They can be made in almost any shape (contact us for further details) but hearts, wedding cakes and butterflies appeal to everyone at a wedding, and dinosaurs, dolphins, angels etc are great for children’s parties. They can be decorated with names, or dates, or simple designs in almost any colour – the only limit is your imagination!
